Like many, my first introduction to coffee was as a college student looking for late night pick-me-up.
I grew up near Boston, MA and frequented the
many Dunkin’ Donuts that litter the landscape. My appreciation for a cup of coffee during those days was directly related to its quantity of caffeine and indirectly related to its price.
Now a 30-something professional holding down a solid job, I’ve come to
truly appreciate a great cup of coffee.
Like anyone I have my preferences — smooth and rich, hold the sweetener — but above all I hold dear the satisfaction of brewing it myself.
My goal at The Coffee Maven is to explore the world of coffee with you. I’ll share tips and tricks, provide honest reviews of products, and introduce different coffee styles and blends around the world.
I do all of this with the above quote in mind, because every time I have “the best cup of coffee of my life” I can’t wait to find the next best cup.
